- Media owners
By having your products certified and audited by ABC and ABCe you are able to demonstrate to buyers of advertising that your figures have been prepared and independently audited to industry agreed standards.
ABC provides Account Management support for its members, including advice, consultation visits, audit support and tailored training courses.
A wide range of marketing material is available to help you promote your membership to advertisers, buyers and investors.
As an ABC member you have access to all current and historical ABC data and reports.
Media owners are accepted into full ABC membership upon release of their first certificate.
We deliver content in person, in print and online so I think it is very important if you are delivering an audience and offering out a promise to advertisers, that the audience is measured. ABC is crucial to everything we do. It gives a business its authority, its integrity and its trust.

- Media agencies
Media agencies who are members of IPA and IAPI are provided with automatic membership via their industry body as part of a group scheme. All you need to do is register with us and we’ll do the rest. Non-IPA membership costs are calculated on the billings of the agency on a sliding scale (this ensures that smaller agencies are not prohibited by cost from joining).
All agency members have full access to historic and trend data and a wide range of ABC reports. Reports can be emailed to members as soon as they become available, e.g the monthly Multi-platform (print and online figures for newspapers) ABC bulk newspaper, consumer magazine, regional publication, Irish media reports.
ABC/e independently verifies a media owner’s circulation, attendance or online data to ensure you can have complete confidence in any claims.
ABC and ABCe data provides justification that advertising budgets are being spent effectively.
An ABC or ABCe certificate is full of valuable information providing accurate and comparable data for use in buying decisions.

The ABC is probably the most important piece of paper that we get in terms of research. I think there is something like 12,000 publications listed in BRAD, each one of them has a sales story. Now we would not be able as buyers to have meetings and telephone conversations with every one of these publications. We use the ABC to ensure that the ones that we are talking to are really putting out what they say they are putting out.

- ABCe Associate Subscriber Scheme
The Associate Subscriber Scheme encourages suppliers to visibly support industry agreed standards. Suppliers to the industry such as web analytics and hosting companies, advertising agencies, trade bodies are eligible to join the scheme.
As an Associate Subscriber you can help your clients to achieve industry standards.
The Associate Subscriber Scheme promotes and also encourages discussions between the subscriber and ABCe's technical staff so that everyone is working towards the same goals.
ABCe
Associate Subscribers can also participate in the ABCe Internet Technical Group (ITG) meetings which are designed to ensure all clients and their agents may participate in developing and evolving the industry agreed rules and methodologies.
